Pre-Class Cancellations:
Tuition will be refunded in full when cancellation occurs up to fourteen (14) calendar days prior to the first scheduled day of class. Cancellation that occurs between fourteen (14) and seven (7) calendar days prior to the first scheduled day of class will receive no refunds; however, the student may register one more time for another class within one year from the beginning date of class at no additional charge. Cancellation that occurs less than seven (7) calendar days prior to the first scheduled day of class will receive no refunds and the student is not entitled to a course reschedule.
Temporary Motorcycle Instruction Permit:
All unendorsed students must obtain a temporary motorcycle instructional permit prior to attending class. Please note your state’s specific rules regarding obtaining this permit. Failure to provide a temporary motorcycle instructional permit on the first scheduled day of the course is grounds for dismissal from the course without any refund or rescheduling.
Withdrawn Students:
A student who reports for training but withdraws from class prior to completing the entire course will receive no refunds.
Dismissed Students:
A student who does not report for class on time at the beginning of each training day will be released from the course by the Rider’s Edge® instructors. Promptness is mandatory. Once the training day has begun, it will not be stopped to catch up a tardy student. A student may also be dismissed at any time during the course by the Riders Edge® instructor(s) for being disruptive, violating range rules, or exhibiting skill level development that is detrimental or presents a hazard to conducting the training for the class. Dismissed students will receive no refunds.
Students who complete the course but are unsuccessful at the skill test may retake the entire course one time within six (6) months on a space available basis at no additional cost. If the student does not show up for class or is unsuccessful upon completing the course at this opportunity, the entire tuition is forfeited. The student may take the course again, but must pay the full tuition for an additional session.
Cancellations by Dealer:
Although course cancellation notice will be given to students at the earliest possible opportunity, Cole Harley-Davidson® reserves the right to cancel a course at any time. If course cancellation occurs, Cole Harley-Davidson® will reschedule the course or place students in other available courses. If Cole Harley-Davidson® cancels a course and an enrolled student cannot enroll in a rescheduled course, a full refund will be given to the student.
In the case of inclement weather, every effort will be made to continue with the class. The New Rider Course will not be cancelled due to rain. However, if a course must be cancelled due to heavy rain or thunderstorms, the course will be rescheduled or students will be placed in other available class openings.
Payment:
The course fee of $295 is non-refundable. If a student enrolls and pays 60 days or more before the first scheduled day of the course, a $100 gift card to Cole Harley-Davidson® will be given to the student on the first day of the course.
